Panov, Dmitri G. (L)
Dimitri G. Panov (1909-1965) was a Russian Doctor of Geographical Sciences, with a particular interest in marine geology. In 1961 he published The Origin of the Continents and Oceans, in Russian, in which he declared his belief in the reality of Atlantis. In addition, he edited the original Russian edition of Zhirov’s, Atlantis: Atlantology – Basic Problems and also wrote a short foreword for the English edition[458].
