Knights Templar
The Knights Templar are sometimes mentioned in connection with Atlantis, but with proposed links that at their very best are tenuous. While the Knights are more generally accepted to have been founded in the 12th century AD, efforts have been made to provide them with a more ancient pedigree. Graham Philips has suggested[1345] a link with the Ark of the Covenant, while Frank Joseph claims[0670] to trace the Ark back to Atlantis, although he omits to mention this connection in The Atlantis Encyclopedia[0104] published just two years earlier!
