Mariana, Juan de
Juan de Mariana (1539-1624) was a Spanish Jesuit who has been identified by Georgeos Diaz-Montexano as the first person to propose an Iberian connection with Atlantis in his extensive volume Historiae de Rebus Hispaniae [1653].
