Aujac, Germaine

Germaine Aujac (1923- ) was an Associate Professor of Classics, Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Toulouse-le-Mirail. For the purposes of our study she has provided(a)(b) a valuable overview of the debate that raged in the 16th and 17th centuries as to the possibility that the classical writers had knowledge of America. Inevitably she touched on the subject of Atlantis, with a somewhat sceptical conclusion.
