    NEWS October 2024

OCTOBER 2024 The recent cyber attack on the Internet Archive is deplorable and can be reasonably compared with the repeated burning of the Great Library of Alexandria. I have used the Wayback Machine extensively, but, until the full extent of the permanent damage is clear, I am unable to assess its effect on Atlantipedia. At […]Read More »

    Joining The Dots

I have now published my new book, Joining The Dots, which offers a fresh look at the Atlantis mystery. I have addressed the critical questions of when, where and who, using Plato’s own words, tempered with some critical thinking and a modicum of common sense.Read More »

Who built the Pyramids?

Many scholars and scientist wrote in great details about the Pyramids and who built them and how it was done? There are many theories about this event and until today, many historians are arguing the details of these great monuments.

In this book, we document in great details about the early historians who documented and visited the Pyramids such Herodotus. But did he really visit the real Pyramids?  Did he see the original ones or who saw something else?

Interesting findings and questions about Herodotus theory:

Did you know that there are more than 100 Pyramids in Egypt?

Why Herodotus did not mention Sphinx in his writings?

Herodotus mentioned that there was a small Pyramid in front of a big pyramid. This is true, but with Dahshur Pyramids and not the famous Giza Pyramids

All Scientists agreed that Giza Pyramids were built the same time and not by different groups in different times as Herodotus mentioned in his writings

Was it possible that Herodotus was talking about the Dahshur Pyramids and not the real Giza Pyramids

Herodotus in his historical writing, he describes with details the pyramids above which, they are the pyramids of Dahshur

Map of Dahshur with its Pyramids for more evidence about what Herodotus talk about (The sphinx was not mentioned because it is not existing in Dahshur)

The massive sculpture of sphinx in front of the pyramids of Giza

The Giza Necropolis. This complex of ancient monuments includes the three pyramid complexes known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture known as the Great Sphinx(also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the largest of the three pyramids in the Giza

From the images above (Giza Pyramids), we can conclude that, it is very possible that were built by one highly advanced Architect(not many) and during his life,  with a help of great science and powerful individuals. Therefore the science used to built the pyramids, disapeared after the architect is disapeared.

in the other hand, the great sculpture of Sphinx, it wasn’t mentioned in Herodotus historical book, which it means, he was talking about Dashur Pyramids and not The Giza Necropolis

We have more evidence about who built The Giza Necropolis, and the period of time when were built.
