Kurt Bangert
Bangert, Kurt
Kurt Bangert is a German humanitarian working with the World Vision relief organisation, who has written extensively on issues such as HIV/AIDS, boy soldiers and poverty. Among his many essays are a couple relating to Atlantis. A 2007 paper(a), in German, entitled The Sinking of Atlantis and the Black Sea Flood gives support to the Black Sea location for Atlantis promoted by Christian and Siegfried Schoppe.>Atlantisforschung quotes Bangert’s view of the Schoppes’ Black Sea Atlantis as “not only having a high degree of plausibility, but is so resoundingly valid that it can almost be regarded as a historical fact.“(c)
He studied the biblical Deluge and concluded that ‘the cradle of civilisation’ was on the Black Sea and not Mesopotamia.
Bangert has also written about other ancient mysteries including the Nebra Sky Disk, the Tower of Babel and Mt Sinai(b).<
