The Riddle of Prehistoric Britain *

The Riddle of Prehistoric Britain [562], by W. Comyns Beaumont, proposed that the British Isles had been the location of Atlantis and that a cometary impact in 1322 BC destroyed its Atlantean settlements. He contends that this comet was subsequently named Satan.

 

Beaumont’s delightfully eccentric views include the suggestion that the civilisations of Egypt, Greece and Phoenicia, all had their origins in Northern Europe.
