David Furlong is a town planner by profession, although his interest in ‘earth mysteries’ has led him down a very different path, and is now a practising healer. In his 1997 book, The Keys to the Temple[285], he briefly reviews the  Atlantis question and is inclined to opt for an Atlantic location; probably along  the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Furlong notes the coincidence of the beginning of ‘henge’ building in Britain with pyramid building in Egypt and suggests a common source – Atlantis. He is convinced that a widespread catastrophe around 3100 BC caused the demise of Atlantis(b)(c). This date agrees with the views of Duncan Steel and Timo Nimora. Furlong has his own website(a) that is now more concerned with healing, channelling and organising the more lucrative tours of Egypt (& Malta)!
